The Belchertown Fair continues to be one of the only fairs in the State of Massachusetts that does not have a gate fee. From the bands, hypnotists & clowns that entertain, events like pumpkin carving, farmer for the day & the memory tree, to the premiums that are awarded to the winners of the Peddle Tractor Pulls, Baby Contest and Boy's Night Out (to mention a few), are all FREE to anyone who spends time on the common Fair Weekend. The ability for the Fair Committee to keep this fair free for all visitors is through the sponsorship from local businesses and individuals. It is a great honor to know that a family can spend the day at our fair and not have to spend any money.

Sponsorship can take many forms, checks in any amount can be designated for specific events or general operating expenses. Often times, more important is the special skill that you can provide. The Fair Committee designates those special skills as in kind service.
